Online workshops w/Emily McConnell
Ayurveda. Maybe we’ve heard the word, but what is it? In this 2-hour workshop, we will talk a little, we’ll move a little, we’ll sip some tea -- and explore what Ayurveda is and how it relates to our bodies and our yoga practice during the Fall season. Our time together will include an asana practice for taming anxiety and overwhelming feelings that is complemented by pranayama and meditation, concluding with a restorative Savasana. We will also explore seasonally appropriate lifestyle recommendations for balance, vibrant health and self care. This workshop is appropriate for all levels.
Props to have available: A bolster or a few blankets (large towels also work); yoga blocks (sturdy books may also work); a journal; tea of your choosing; yoga mat.
What to wear: Comfy clothes that let you move easily.
