Old Town La Quinta
78-100 Main Street, Suite #203, La Quinta, CA 92253
On November 18th, meet us at Village Make to experience the streets of La Quinta Village in a whole new way! Enjoy pop up creative art installations, music, giveaways, free bicycle rentals, family-friendly activities and more at this sidewalk festival as you bike, walk, skate or play throughout the Village and the surrounding streets. Connect to the festivities on foot or by bike, scooter or skateboard.
Village Make runs from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. and showcases temporary improvements that make it easier, safer and more enjoyable for people to walk and bike, including:
- Traffic circles (pop up and augmented reality!)
- Mid-block crosswalk along Calle Tampico
- An artsy green alleyway
- Street furniture (including shaded places to sit and relax)
- Parklets (small parks that extend the sidewalk)
- Cut-through walking paths to make it easier to move through the Village.
Come and experience what these changes feel like and share your feedback on what you would like your streets to look like and feel like permanently!
